Built in 1910 and restored in 1984, this preowned 5'10" model O Steinway & Sons grand is still in good condition. In 1984 We refinished the piano, replaced the soundboard, bridges, pinblock, strings & pins, reconditioned the action parts and replaced the hammers. The inside of the piano is in great condition - no cracks in the soundboard or bridges, the tuning pins are tight and the hammers have a lot of life left.

Unfortunately, the beautiful finish from 1984 has been faded by the sun. However, the cosmetic appearance does not affect the beautiful sound! If you don't mind the fading, this will be a wonderful instrument for you. Or, with an extra cost, but still a great value, we can refinish the piano and make the beautiful mahogany shine once more!

This piano has passed inspection and has been reconditioned and tuned.

Reconditioning included:

  • Resurfacing the Hammers
  • Aligning Hammers to Strings
  • Leveling Keys, Adjusting Key Dip
  • Adjusting Let-off and Backchecks
  • Cleaning the Strings & Soundboard
  • Polishing the Keytops
  • Tightening All the Action Screws
  • Tuning and Voicing
  • Case Refreshing & Rub-out
  • Polishing hardware
