Kohler & Campbell Piano History
The Kohler & Campbell piano company was started in 1894 by Charles Kohler & John Campbell. Like many other companies, its roots are in New York City. In the 1950's the company moved to North Carolina. The company produced many uprights, spinets and grands using many different names until the 1980's, when the Kohler & Campbell name was sold to a large piano retail chain, and pianos were made by the Samick manufacturing company located in Korea. After 1996, they were exclusively made by Samick in Korea and Indonesia, as one of their piano lines.
