9' Mahogany Satin Concert Grand - Serial #16656 - 1910
This 9' mahogany satin concert grand is a remarkable example of the wonderful pianos Baldwin produced in the early 1900s in Cincinnati, Ohio. It delivers a rich, warm tone with a full, commanding bass that fills the room with depth and character, while the upper register retains clarity and musical sweetness. With its expansive voice and impressive tonal presence, this instrument offers the kind of power and warmth that make a concert grand so compelling. Its Victorian-style case is especially unique, lending rare elegance to a piano of this size.
Refinished and restored by RPI in 1981, this Baldwin received a new soundboard, pinblock, strings, tuning pins, keytops, damper felts, action felts, hammer shanks, and hammers.
Carefully reconditioned to RPI's strict standards, including cleaning, regulation, and tuning, this piano includes a bench and is backed by a 2-year mechanical warranty.
